Mun Peak (also called Moon Peak) is a moderate-to-difficult summit trek above McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh, reaching about 4,633 m (15,200 ft) on the Dhauladhar ridge. It usually takes 5 days via Triund, Laka Got and the Lahesh caves, crossing Indrahar Pass (about 4,342 m) before the final climb to the summit.
About the Mun Peak trek
Mun Peak continues where the Indrahar Pass trek ends. From the Lahesh cave camp, summit day crosses Indrahar Pass and follows the ridge to a top with views over the Kangra valley on one side and the Chamba side of the Dhauladhar and the Pir Panjal on the other.
