Kheerganga is an easy-to-moderate hike in the Parvati valley, Himachal Pradesh, to hot springs and a meadow at about 2,960 m. It is 12–13 km one way from Barshaini and is now done as a day trek: overnight camping at the top has been banned since July 2024.
About the Kheerganga trek
The path climbs from Barshaini through Nakthan village and Rudra Nag to an open meadow, where a hot spring feeds a bathing pool beside a small Shiva temple.

Avoid the July–August monsoon. The trail is usually snow-affected from December to February.

The trail is well used and mostly through forest and villages, but the round trip of about 25 km in one day is long. The day-trek time limits mean you need to walk at a steady pace.

- Overnight camping at Kheerganga has been banned by the Himachal forest department since July 2024; stay in Barshaini, Kalga, Tosh or Nakthan instead. Register at the Barshaini checkpost (₹100 per person, photo ID needed), start up before 10 AM and be on your way down by 2 PM.
